Adjective
Adverb
Wiktionary
BILIRUBIN, noun. (biochemistry) A bile pigment that is product of the breakdown of the heme portion of hemoglobin (which occurs within macrophages as they digest red blood cells), extremely high levels of which cause jaundice.
Dictionary definition
BILIRUBIN, noun. An orange-yellow pigment in the bile that forms as a product of hemoglobin; excess amounts in the blood produce the yellow appearance observed in jaundice.
Wise words
It is better wither to be silent, or to say things of more
value than silence. Sooner throw a pearl at hazard than an
idle or useless word; and do not say a little in many words,
but a great deal in a few.
