VOLUMETRIC ANALYSIS, noun. (analytical chemistry) Any of various analytical methods and techniques in which the amount of a substance in a sample is determined by measuring the volume of a liquid or gas; especially any method using titration.
VOLUMETRIC FLASK, noun. (chemistry) A glass flask used in a laboratory for holding chemical liquids and solutions. They are similar in shape to a Florence flask, but with a longer neck and wider flat bottom. The neck is marked so that a particular volume of liquid can be measured with high precision.
